We just wanted to let you know that we have added some biographical details to go with the pictures of our kickboxers in the fighters’ gallery.
Over time, more details will appear on each individual fighter – but, for now, some basic information, such as age, fighting weight and hobbies, has been used as the starting point as we build towards creating more detailed profiles.
We would like to thank the kickboxers who took the time to provide the information we needed at training last night (Friday, 9 July) – it is really appreciated.
However, as not all of the fighters who were snapped by our chief photographer Niamh Greene on Monday (5 July) were at training last night, there are a few gaps that still need to be filled.
Of those who had their photos taken by Niamh, we require biographical details from Keith Burns, David Greene, Karl Flynn, Leon Johnson, Ryan Keegan, Denis Mahon, Karl Mahoney and John Moody.
Denis, of course, is currently injured, so we will contact him directly; we’ll track the rest of the others down over time!
Pictured is the highly-talented 18-year-old Kieran Lee, who fights in the 65kg category and lists training and fighting as his main hobbies.
