One or two women signed up to the weight-loss program at training on Wednesday (16 June), but one or two were undecided and not sure if they were prepared to make the commitment that goes with it.
Maybe they’ll have a rethink and come on board with the rest of us, maybe not; but if it’s not for them, it’s not for them – no problem. Dieting is not to everyone’s taste, people are different and what suits somebody may not suit somebody else.
Still, I have to say the initial response has been very encouraging and I hope to be in a position to put up a picture or two in the coming week of some of the women in the group who have signed up to the program already.
Hopefully the numbers will grow in the weeks to come.
As I said before, the main thing about the club is that it’s really relaxed – there’s a social aspect to it too. It isn’t all hard work and no fun – far from it. The place is really easy going, everyone gets on with everyone else and there are no egos or stuff like that.
By the way, I’m still waiting for the dietary advice sheets but, as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day! Be patient and we’ll get there in the end.
The first and most important step was getting the weight-loss program organised and then getting people involved. We’ve achieved those objectives – now, hopefully, in the weeks to come I’ll be able to rope a few more bodies in! Thanks for your time. I’ll post another update early next week.
